JUAN “JOHN” L. LIRA
STERLING-Juan “John” L. Lira, 63, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at CGH Medical Center.
Juan was born September 20, 1951 in Sunnyside Washington the son of Juan and Josephine (Sandoval) Lira.
Survivors include one daughter, Allesia Curtis; his mother, Josephine (Lico); two brothers, David (Lonna) Lira and Henry (Lisa) Lira, both of Sterling; two sisters, Rosa (Geronimo) Rodriguez of Sterling and Maria (Omar) Aguilera of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Tina Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Wally Lira and one sister Maria in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with Pastor Jeff Coester, of The Big Red Church, Sterling, officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established.
