Obituary of Ronald W. VanDusen

RONALD W. VANDUSEN STERLING-Ronald W. VanDusen, 77, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home. Ronald was born August 17, 1937 in Nelson, the son of Delbert Wayne and Evelyn Irene (Collier) VanDusen. He served in the United States Marines. He married Linda Clark on February 14, 1987. He was owner and operator of Advanced Roofing Company. Survivors include his wife, Linda of Sterling; three sons; two daughters, one being his former care taker, Jessi VanDusen; two sisters, Debbie Chapman of Sterling and Jean Decker of Morrison;one grand-daughter Alexsia Shiann; and a nephew David "My Man" VanDusen. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Geraldine “Sis” Zinke and one brother, Delbert “Van” VanDusen. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with Minister David Schmitt of 16th Avenue Church of Christ., officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Friday, prior to services at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
