SHARON K. ARMOSKA GARZA STERLING-Sharon K. Armoska Garza, died, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at her home. Sharon was born March 2, 1964 in Sterling, the daughter of Eugene and Joanne (Stevens) Armoska. She married Jose Garza on September 25, 2015 in Sterling. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Sterling. Sharon was an avid Cubs, Bears, and Bulls fan. She enjoyed playing softball with many of her friends. Survivors include her husband, Jose of Sterling; two step-sons, Josef and Jaden Garza; mother-in-law, Irma Garza; sister-in-law- Anna (Phil) Penaflor of Sterling, Cindy (Joe) Fargher of Sterling, Genny (Gunther) Gassner of Dixon and Chris (Larry) Balsley of Sterling; three sisters, Christine Coppotelli of Sterling, Susan (Ed) Adami of Rock Falls and Kimberly (Carl) Stingley of Sterling; two brothers, Michael (Lynnsey) Armoska of Cherry Valley and Steven Armoska of Rock Falls; very special nieces and nephews, Nick (Stephanie) Brad (Kindi), Lindsay, Jenna, Dylan, Calvin, Nolan, Steven, Dante, Carter, Brock, Sienna, Hannah and Jaymeson, and several other nieces and nephews; and two special friends Taffy Ramos and Andrea Kempel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law, Angelo F. Garza and two nieces Joanie, Samantha Jo and one nephew Maddux. Mass of the Christian burial will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 7, 2015 at St Mary Catholic Church, Sterling. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery following Mass. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com
