Ada May Friesen, 92 of Sterling passed away Saturday June 20, 2026 at her home. Ada was born March 30, 1934 in Veteran, Alberta Canada, the daughter of Del B. “Fred” and Nellie (Watson) Jones. She married Leslie Friesen August 17, 1952. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2007.

   Ada was a lifelong member of the Reformed Mennonite Church.

   Survivors include two daughters Nonis (David) Beaucham, and Mary L. (Roy) Leaman; three sons Max (Ann) Friesen, George Friesen, and Eric (Cindy) Friesen; twelve grandchildren John Leaman, Ross (Heidi) Leaman, Glen (Bethany) Leaman, Carl (Marilyn) Leaman, Earl Leaman, Christopher Rippy, Elisha (Destry) Harper, Elijah Friesen, Krystal (Cody) Spencer, Erica Friesen, Emily (Michael) Stinnett; and thirteen great-grand-children.

   Ada was preceded in death by her parents Fred (Nellie) Jones; Husband Leslie; one grandson Dillon; two brothers Walter Jones, and Delby Jones; one sister Marie Young.

   Visitation will be 6PM-8PM Thursday June 25, 2006 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation. Funeral services will be 11AM Friday June 26, 2006 at the Reformed Mennonite Church in Sterling. Please omit flowers.
