Allan F. Beyer, 87, of Sterling, died Wednesday, November, 15, 2017 at his home. He was the Road Commissioner for Jordan Township for many years. Allan was born January 4, 1930 in Shannon, the son of Alfred and Wanda (Walther) Beyer. He married Lucille Beyer on May 1, 1955 in Sterling. Survivors include his wife, Lucille; one daughter, Lisa McEvoy (Tom Huizenga) of Fulton; two sons, Neal (Kathy) Beyer of Clinton, IA; and Scot (Berta) Beyer of Sterling; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sterling with Reverend Brandon Nelson, pastor, officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. A memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice of Oregon and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sterling.
