Ann Lahman Musgrove, 90, of Resthave Home in Morrison, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, after a long and fulfilling life.
Born on May 7, 1935, in Kenilworth, Illinois, Ann was the daughter of the late Wilford C. (“Woody”) and Dorothy (“Tip”) Davis Lahman. On February 4, 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, Homer Barrett (“Barry”) Musgrove III. They shared 53 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in August 2006.
Ann devoted her life to her husband and their three children. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home on First Avenue in Sterling, creating countless memories with family and friends. She had a deep passion for gardening, P.E.O., music, and volunteering—interests that enriched her life and touched the lives of those around her. Ann will be remembered for her generous spirit, empathetic ear, and her remarkable ability to make everyone she met feel cherished.
She leaves behind a loving legacy through her three children and her sister, Nancy Lahman Weber.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Resthave Home for their compassionate care, for welcoming Ann into their loving community, and for their unwavering support. They also wish to express sincere appreciation to the exceptional staff at Rock River Hospice for their kindness and care.
Per Ann’s wishes, there will be no service.
A memorial has been established in Ann’s honor. Donations may be made to Resthave Home in Morrison or to Rock River Hospice in Sterling, Illinois.
