Betty Mae Oberg STERLING- Betty Mae Oberg, 94, of Sterling, died, Friday, September 27. 2019 at Avonlea Cottages of Sterling. Betty was born July 25, 1925, in Madison, WI. The daughter of Frank and Pearl (Muttart) Wheeler. She married Richard Grant Oberg, he preceded her in death on November 26, 1989. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra (Tim) Cox of Sterling; and two grandchildren, Sean Cox and Jenna Cox both of Davenport, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Patsy Karpiel. There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded.
