Bonnie Louise Dirks 75, of Rock Falls, Illinois, was born on February 7, 1951, and passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026. She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Florian and Phoebe Mager, on a day that held special meaning as it was her father’s birthday. She married Ronald Dirks in 2001.

She graduated from Sterling High School and continued her education by taking Criminal Justice courses at Sauk Valley Community College. She worked 25 years at Wahl before retiring in 2016.

Music was one of her greatest joys. She loved playing the guitar and singing, and her family finds comfort in imagining her reunited in Heaven, making music once again with her brothers.

Her greatest love was her family. She was the loving mother of one son Aron Johnson; two daughters Bobbie (Kelly) Schultz, and Crystal (Juan) Trevino; one brother Kenny (Sharon) Mager; one sister Diane Martin; two sister-in-laws Cheryl Allen, and Marilyn Letcher; She was a proud grandmother to thirteen grandchildren Jynnejah (Gage) Hubka, Ana Schultz, Taylor (Zach Knowles) Pyron, Justice Pyron, Kody Schultz, Caleb (Eve) Johnson, Adryan Johnson, Adisyn (Aidan) Mock, Xavier Trevino, Juan Jr. Trevino, AryiAna Trevino, Andrew Johnson, Julian Trevino; eight great-grandchildren Keegan, Mikhael, Aliyza, Raelynn, Odin, K'lanyi, Kylen, and Raymond. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. who brought her tremendous joy and kept her going.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ronald; one son in infancy Jerry Johnson; two brothers in infancy Alvin and Dwayne; three brothers Rodney, Arnie and Darryl; one sister Arlene; one grandson Kyle Schultz; one brother-in-law Roger Martin; one sister-in-law Sandy Mager.

Cremation rites have been accorded a private service will take place on Friday, and a Celebration Of Life will start at 3PM Sunday June 28, 2026 at Mexicali Rose 1409 8th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071.
