DAVID FRIEBERG STERLING �" David Frieberg, 40, of Sterling, died Thursday, February 5, 2009. He was employed by Casey's as a cook. Mr. Frieberg was born June 14, 1968 in Sterling, the son of Robert Frieberg Sr. and Connie VanDusen-Martens. He married Trina Emmert on June 11, 1993 in Dixon. Survivors include his wife, Trina; his father Robert (Diane) Frieberg Sr.; four daughters, Jessica Marie Frieberg of Dixon, Kristen Sue Frieberg of Sterling, Racheal LeeAnne Frieberg of Dixon, and Nicolle May Johnson of Dixon; one son, Joshua David Frieberg at home; two brothers, Robert Frieberg, and Chad Frieberg both of Rock Falls; two sisters, Lea (Chad) Riesselman of Thompson, and Sabrena Frieberg of Rock Falls; two grandchildren, Kylee Renee Johnson and Sebastian David Frieberg; one aunt Bonnie Hermes of Woodland Shores; three uncles Gerald "Bud" (Elaine) VanDusen of Mt. Morris, David (Kathy) VanDusen of Florida, Pork (Nancy) Shriner of Haldane; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie (VanDusen) Martens, maternal grandparents, Gerald and Dorothy VanDusen, and paternal grandparents Alvin (Helen) Frieberg; one brother and one sister in infancy. Cremation rites have been accorded, and a gathering of friends will be held at a later date. Arrangements were completed by Schilling Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to his children.
