David Palmer
March 30, 1944 — October 8, 2013
STERLING-David Marion Palmer, 69, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at his home in Sterling. He was born March 30, 1944, the son of Carolla Rae Palmer and Marion Chester Palmer. He dedicated his life to service to others as a teacher, role model, mentor, and loving father. He is survived by his daughters, Katherine Elizabeth Gordon of Durham, N.C., and Candace Elena Palmer of Chicago; and sister, Carolla Rae Bolton of Lombard. A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8081, 3S371 Mignin Drive in Warrenville.
