Debra S. Williams, 68, of Coleta passed away Wednesday June 10, 2026 surrounded by her husband and step-daughters. Debra was born September 9, 1957 in Sterling the daughter of Richard and Delores (Sutton) Wessels. She married David Williams on August 14, 1998 in Franklin Grove, IL.

   Debra worked at the Mabley Center for 35 years until her retirement. She enjoyed her dogs, soap operas, shopping, and was an avid Cubs fan.

   Survivors include her husband David; one daughter Emma Williams; one son Christopher Wessels; four step-daughters Trisha Meyer, Trina (Jeff) Perkins, Shelly (Christine) Karrow and Janie Williams; three brothers Steve (Sue) Wessels, Brian (Vicki) Wessels, and Kurt (Julie) Wessels; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

   Debra was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Frances Wessels; three brothers Daniel Wessels, Jim Wessels, and Alan Wessels.

   Visitation will be 5PM-6PM, Wednesday June 17, 2026 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling, IL. Funeral service will follow at 6PM. Cremation rites will take place after the service and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.

   A memorial has been established.
