Dolores Weissenburger

Mrs. Dolores Weissenburger of Walnut died July 21, 2024. Mrs. Weissenburger was born February 14, 1931 in Spring Valley, IL the daughter of William and Lovina (Fiste) Flohr. She married Kenneth Weissenburger on June 14, 1952. Kenneth preceded her in death on March 20, 2000.

Survivors include sons David (Adrian) Weissenburger and Donald (Lois) Weissenburger; daughters Susan (John) Bohlin and Linda (Michael) Moreno. Dolores is survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Richard Jensen and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Weissenburger was preceded in death by her parents and sister Arlene Jensen.

Visitation will be Friday September 20, 2024 from 10AM-11AM at New Life Lutheran Church in Sterling, IL. Funeral service will begin at 11AM, with Pastor Drew Williams, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, in Sterling, IL.

A memorial has been established to New Life Lutheran Church. Donations may also be made online to the Audubon Society at www.act.audubon.org
