Donald A. Stahler, 84, of Dixon, passed away Saturday October 17, 2026 at his home surrounded by family. Donald was born November 11, 1941 in St. Louis MO the son of George and Catherine (Williamson) Stahler. He married Julia Williams on August 13, 1961 in Dixon, IL.

   Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, collecting toy tractors, carpentry, and most of all spending time with his family.

   Survivors include his wife Julia Stahler; Children Tamera (Kevin) Wolf, Pamela (Dan) Rick, Michael (Alisha) Stahler; his grandchildren Megan, Zachary, Jennifer, Adam, Michael, Mackenzie, Cole, Olivia, Aliyah, Kyle, Alivia; twenty two great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother Richard (Donna) Stahler.

   Donald was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Sharon; and one daughter-in-law Heidi.

   Cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service at a later date.

   A memorial has been established to OSF Hospice of Rockford. Donations May be directed to the family.
