Donna J. Crawford

   Donna J. Crawford, 88, of Sterling passed away surrounded by family Thursday September 25, 2025 at Citadel of Sterling. Donna was born March 1, 1937 in Sterling the daughter of Harold and Edna (Jacquet) Miller. She married Lige Crawford March 7, 1954 in Rock Falls. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1985.

   Donna enjoyed traveling with her close companions, playing card games especially Yahtzee and loved her game shows on TV.

   Survivors include one son Randy (Jewel) Crawford of North Port, FL; two daughters Rita (G. Joe) Pepper of Sterling and Rhonda Crawford of Dixon; siblings Karen (Wayne) Siersma of Holland MI, Kim Flessner of Fennville MI, Kelly (Rick) Ballard of Rock Falls, Kevin Miller, Kenneth Miller, Gloria (Vinus) Williams of Sterling, Linda (Doug) Wolf of Rock Falls; grandchildren Conrad of Bradenton FL, Derek (Christine) of Sarasota FL, Tyler and Elizabeth Crawford, Jennifer (Amy Jo) Pepper of Fulton, Eathan Long of NC, Carrie (Jason) Wolf of Sterling, Brady and Clara Wolf, Nicholas (Amy) Pepper of Sterling, Samuel Crawford of Dixon, and Lilly Crawford. Daughter-in-law Nora Crawford; Several Nieces and Nephews. Donna had a special connection to extended family in Arkansas. Childhood friends Bonnie Shrut and Romona Rothe. Special friends from her church and community Merle (Sandy) Heckman, Pat Estes, Julie Pratt, Jeanetta Pack, and Jen Vock.

   Donna was preceded in death by her parents, one son Robert Crawford; one sister Connie McCormick, and two brothers Alan Miller, and Keith Miller; one grand-daughter Crystal Crawford.

   Visitation will be 1PM-3PM Sunday September 28, 2025 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling. Funeral Services will be 10:30 Monday September 29, 2025 at 16th Avenue Church of Christ, with Merle Heckman officiating. Burial will take place following the funeral at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.

   A memorial has been established to the 16th Avenue Church of Christ.
