Evelyn Smith

STERLING- Evelyn Smith, 98, died, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Resthave Nursing Home of Morrison. Evelyn was born August 4, 1920 in Sterling, the daughter of Earl and Mayme (Lyndes) Martin. She married Paul W. Smith on April 14, 1942 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1976. Survivors include one daughter, Donna (Dale) Sugars of Sterling; two sons, Greg (Dianne) Smith of Casper, WY and Gordon (Marcia) Smith of Kokomo, IN; one sister, Lucille Dodd of Clinton, IA; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren and six step-great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bernice Seavey and one step granddaughter. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at First Christian Church of Sterling, with Pastor Zack Mapes, officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be private.
