Gregory Michael Anderson, 72, of Rock Falls died Tuesday May 19, 2026 at his home. Gregory was born April 8, 1954 in Rock Falls the son of Norman and Ila (Topping) Anderson. He married Helen McClearin in 1977.

   Gregory served in the United States Navy. He was a master electrician and a master woodworker. Gregory was an avid reader having read over 10,000 books in his lifetime. He was lovingly known as “Grandpa Lemon”.

   Survivors include his wife Helen; one daughter Amber Star (Craig) Kobler; one step-son Andy (Melissa Cox) McClearin; one step-daughter Brandi McNinch; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

   Gregory was preceded in death by his parents and two twin brothers in infancy, Bruce and Brian.

   Cremation rites have been entrusted to Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
