Janice E. Wilson

Janice E. Wilson passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, with family by her side.

   Janice was born October 24, 1935 in Adel, Iowa. After high school she went to Minneapolis to Lab/XRay School. After graduation with her degree she moved to Sterling where she would meet the love of her life. They married in 1955 and raised two daughters. She worked at the Sterling-Rock Falls Clinic where she would retire. Janice and Paul enjoyed retirement for twenty-five years in Florida. 

   Janice had a kind smile and a heart of gold. Family was everything to her.

   Janice is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Greg) Blackert and Linda (Randy) Baumgart; four grandchildren, Preston (Michelle) Zigler, Lindsay Zigler, Brian (Michelle) Baumgart and Kathryn (Jakob) Whitlock; seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Delores Lenocker.

   A private burial will take place at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with Paul.
