JANICE L. MYERS STERLING - Janice L. Myers, 64, died Friday, May 27, 2011 at her home. She was employed as a CNA for many years. Janice was born January 10, 1947 in Sterling, the daughter of John Ervin and Dorothy Ann (Dean) Cook, Sr. She was a member of First Open Bible Church in Rock Falls. Survivors include, one daughter, Katherine (Dennis Jr.) Milby, of Chandler, AZ; two sisters, Judith (Robert) Fell, of Rock Falls, and Sheila (Carl) Donovan, of Sterling; two brothers, John (Joyce) Cook, of Rockford, and James Cook, of Rock Falls; and two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joseph Cook. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 2, 2011 at First Open Bible Church, Rock Falls, with the Reverend Les Funderburg, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Repose Cemetery, Amboy. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. A memorial has been established.
