Juanita Craig

Juanita Craig of Sterling died Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Juanita was born January 9, 1933 in San Benito, TX the daughter of Manuel and Guadalupe (Covarrubias) Rodriguez.

Juanita worked at Lawrence Bros. for 26 years. She was an active member for many years at the Latin American Club and Whiteside County Senior Center. Juanita was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by one son Jesse (Kim) Rodriguez of Sterling, two daughters, Tomi (David) Vollmann and Lydia (Pete) Regalado both of Colorado. 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. One brother, Isreal (Dolly) Rodriguez, three sisters Virginia Donna, Josie (Kim) Wright all of Sterling and Ermelinda Howard of Rock Falls.

She is preceded in death by her soul mate Raymond Trujillo; two daughters, Rosie Brickel and Nora Rodriguez; two sons, Edward Rodriguez and Rafael Rodriguez; four brothers, Ignacio, Manuel, Raul and Paul Rodriguez; five sisters, Josefa Villafuerte, Guadalupe Cantu, Nieves Cantu, Piedad Saldivar and Estela Cruz.

Memorial service will be 1PM Saturday December 13, 2025 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11AM-1PM at the funeral home.
