Kathryn "Kathy" Hazel Thomas

   Kathryn (Kathy) Hazel Thomas, 78 of Naperville, passed on the morning of Saturday, October 25th in the loving care of St. Catherine Hospital in Dixon.

   Kathy was born on June 13th, 1947 in Chicago IL. to William and Gloria (Schiller) Brown. Kathy was the oldest of four siblings, Bill, John (Tommy), Jamie and Glen.

   Kathy married Norman Milton Thomas on September 14th 1968 in Manistique Michigan and he preceded her in death on February 9th 2016.

   Kathy and Norm moved to Illinois where Kathy pursued her career in horticulture and received her degree in June 1994. She loved nature, plants and animals. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and helped many people with her kind and loving heart.

   Kathy is survived by her children Cory and Tammy; her grandkids Christian, Caylee and James. Her brothers Bill and John (Tommy) Brown. She is also survived by countless family members and dearly loved friends.

   Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, brothers Glen and Jamie and her oldest son, Shawn.

   Cremation rights have been accorded through Schilling Funeral Home.
