Leora M. Babel

 Leora M. Babel, 93, of Sterling died Monday September 23, 2024 at Citadel of Sterling. Leora was born March 24, 1931 the daughter of Howard and Theresa (Eilers) Weidel. She married Donald Babel on June 21, 1953 in Sterling. 

 Leora enjoyed traveling in the motor home, dancing, and playing Bingo with her friends at Parkway. 

 Survivors include one son Brian (Chris) Babel; one brother Ralph (LaVonda) Weidel; four grandchildren Eric (Lizzie) Babel, Casey (Tanja) Babel, Misty Tabor, and Kai Tabor; five great-grandchildren Kyle, Emma, Makayla, Sophia, and Jax.

 Leora was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donald.

 Funeral service will be 11Am Tuesday October 1, 2024 at New Life Lutheran Church in Sterling. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10AM-11AM at Church. Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. 

 A memorial has been established.
