Marilyn Jean Wolf 98, of Morton, formerly of Sterling, died Sunday August 23, 2026 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. Marilyn was born February 23, 1928 in Bureau County, IL to Robert and Geraldine (Mungor) Bowen. She married Clarence Wolf Jr. on July 6, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2022.

   Marilyn enjoyed sewing, playing piano, and bingo. She was also active in the Legion and VFW Womens Auxillary.

   Marilyn is survived by two sons, Loren D. Wolf of Sterling IL and Bruce A. Wolf of Morton IL; Grandchildren Brian (Via) Wolf, Brent Wolf of Morton IL and Heather (Jacob) Oldaker of Marion, IA; Great-Grandchildren Easton Wolf, Bryson Wolf, Elliott Oldaker.

   She was also preceded in death by one great-grandchild Madison Wolf; one brother Darell Bowen; and one sister Lorella Wise.

   Graveside services will be 11AM Thursday August 27, 2026 at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL.
