Mary Marquis Jarvis

Mary J. Marquis Jarvis (known as “Jackie”), DeKalb resident and former resident of Sterling/Rock Falls, IL, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on July 12th, 2021 at the age of 71. Jackie is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Jarvis; children Marcus and his wife Morgan, and Amy Burnstine; siblings Will Powers, Elizabeth Ridge, and Anna Marquis; grandchildren Ava, Dane, Aria, and Asher Burnstine; step children Christopher and Heather Jarvis, step grandchildren Bailey, Aidan, and Collin; and step great-grandchild Emileo; as well as several nieces and nephews. Jackie was a devoted wife and incredible mother. She will be missed for her maternal guidance and eternal love for her family. A memorial gathering will take place on August 15th, 2021 from 2-4pm at her home in DeKalb. Please contact the family for the address if you would like to attend.
