Patricia “Pat” Majeski, 87, passed away in Wheaton, Illinois. She was born April 24, 1939, in Aledo, Illinois. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered on God, family, and friends.

Pat’s faith was deeply important to her. She served with the Golden Guild at First Congregational Church in Prophetstown. A member of the Class of ’57, she served as class secretary and was a cheerleader for football and basketball.

She loved people and could talk to anyone. Her sincere interest in others and warm heart made people feel welcome. She enjoyed reading, music, singing, and spending time with family and friends.

Pat shared a deep love with her husband, Larry. They enjoyed traveling together, including convention trips through his work with Prudential. After losing him in 2008, she carried her love for him and missed him throughout her life.

Her family was her greatest joy. She remained close to her brothers and sisters throughout her life. She looked forward to every holiday, loved decorating for each one, and treasured having her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren together. Her faith, sincerity, and love for others will be remembered by those who knew her.

Survivors include three sons, Troy D. Majeski of Wheaton, Darren K. (Dawn) Majeski of Prophetstown, and Gregory A. (Barbara) Majeski of Sterling; one daughter, Lori L. (Tim) Smith of Prophetstown; two brothers, Rodney (Bonnie) Calderone and Charles (Donna) Calderone; one stepbrother, Keith (Vicki) Bognar; two stepsisters, Janine (Joe) Miles and Joyce (Glenn) LeMaster; fourteen grandchildren, Madison (Stephen) Mattas, Shirley Majeski (Mike), Dylan Majeski, Blake Majeski, Emily Majeski, Jacob Smith, Jarod Smith, Jeremy (Lauren) Majeski, Joshua (Paige) Majeski, Audrey Majeski, Logan (Emily) Majeski, Victoria (Ryan) Blasdell, Madeline Smith, and Emma Smith; and ten great-grandchildren, Charlotte Mattas, Macklin Mattas, Mila Majeski, Blaire Majeski, Rory Majeski, Jaxson Baker, Emersyn Blasdell, Emilia Blasdell, Maura Blasdell, and Lindy Majeski. She is also survived by her daughter in Christ, Michele Majeski.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; one stepson, Daniel K. Majeski, whose wife, Susan, survives; one sister, Marilyn Jezek; and Cash Majeski.

At Pat’s request, the family extends special thanks to Beth Morse, the Class of ’57, and her caring neighbors for their care and support.

Visitation will be 10AM-11AM Friday November 6, 2026 at the Prophetstown United Methodist Church 200  W 2nd Street, Prophetstown, IL 61277. Funeral services will be 11AM the same day, and burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown following the funeral.
