Ray Alan Hutchison, 73, of Milledgeville died Monday July 20, 2026 at his home. Ray was born April 22, 1953 in Sterling the son of Fred and Darlene (Smith) Hutchison. He married Holly Eastabrooks on December 11, 1971. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2004.

Ray enjoyed raising his exotic animals, and showing chickens. He was a board member of the Carroll County Fair Board, and served as the superintendent of the poultry department. He was also involved in the Rock River Valley Racing Pigeon Club.

Survivors include two sons Kelcy (Tracy) Hutchison, and Kasey Hutchison; one brother David (Mary) Hutchison; special friend Polly Kelsey; Seven grandchildren Kailyn Hutchison, Rowen Hutchison, Kayden Wolber, Kiyah Wolber, Josey Waller, Payton Siperly, and Preston Siperly.

Ray was also preceded in death by his parents, and "Goose" The monkey.

Funeral services will be 11AM Saturday July 25, 2026 at the Milledgeville Brethren Church, with pastor John Trotter, officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service, from 9AM-11AM at Church. Burial will take place at South Elkhorn Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to the Carroll County Fair and the Milledgeville Brethren Church.
