Robert Coleman

   Robert Coleman, 65, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Allure of Sterling.

   Robert loved to travel, he had so many friends and family that he loved especially his grandchildren and spending time with them. His hobbies were working on cars and drinking beer. He loved to have a good time.

   He is survived by his children, Steve and Jesse (Tabetha) Coleman; eight grandchildren, Ceira Coleman, Mason Payne, Zack Coleman, Jonathan Davenport, Aliyah Davenport, Sophia Coleman, Jesse Coleman, Jr., Jaxon Coleman; three great-grandkids; brothers and sisters, Don Coleman of Wisconsin, Bill Coleman of Rockford, Scott (Terry) Coleman of Arizona, Mike Coleman of New Hampshire, Gary (Jean) Coleman of Rockford and Judy (Mike) Charleston of Rock Falls and Mary Coleman and many other friends.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Coleman and grandson, Mason Payne.

   Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling with Pastor Jeff Coester, officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, prior to services at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Arkansas.

   In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted.
