Thelma Glispie

THELMA GLISPIE ROCK FALLS - Thelma Glispie, 86, went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2012, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford. She was surrounded by her loving family as she went peacefully. Thelma was born on February 21, 1925, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Cunningham. Thelma is survived by two sons, Howard (Linda) Glispie, of Rock Falls, and Paul (Diane) Glispie, of LeClaire, IA; one daughter, Jody Glispie, of Sterling; five grandchildren, Howie (Kim) Glispie, Marsha Glispie, John Glispie, Amanda (Donnie) Rice and Sara (Randall) Powell; three step grandchildren, Fred (Kim) Dodd, Carolynn Dodd and Teri (Ricky) Richards; several great grandchildren, step great grandchildren; and several step great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard G. Glispie; and a daughter, Peggy Glispie. Graveside services will be Saturday February 11, 2012 at 1 P.M. at Coloma Township Cemetery, Rock Falls.
