Toni Ashford-Aguilar

Toni Lynn Ashford-Aguilar, 63, of Rockford died Tuesday August 8, 2023 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Toni was born on November 9, 1959 the daughter of Jesse and Josephine (Thomas) Ashford. She married Paul Aguilar, and he preceded her in death.

Toni was a Christian and church was always important to her. Toni loved all kinds of music and back in the day she loved to dance. She loved pizza and anything chocolate. She also loved animals.

Survivors include two sisters, Jessica (Wilford) Jones of Rockford, MargaretJohnson of Sterling, IL; two nephews Wilford “Butch” Jones, Jr., Cincinnati, OH; Albert “Skip” Johnson, Jr of Sterling, IL; one Niece; Ebony Jones, Cincinnati.

Toni was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 1PM Thursday August 17, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling, with pastor Michael Cole, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from Noon to 1PM at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established.
