Vonna Pritchard 64, of Dixon passed away after a lung illness, its with a sad heart I have to say goodbye to my husband, family and friends. Do not cry for me, remember me with love and a smile. I was born in Dixon the daughter of Paul and Donna Krebs (Moore). I was raised in Eldena meeting the love of my life Terry Pritchard. We were married September 26, 2001 in Florida on Cocoa Beach and havent been apart since then. Terry gave me a wonderful happy life and I will miss him with all my heart. He showed me many places I never thought I would see. I worked at the Shell station on Route 2 in Dixon. Promoted to manager then when I became Ill I retired from there in 2017.
Survivors include my husband Terry of Dixon. My daughters Anita (Robert) Doyle of Como. Tabitha Hemminger of Sterling, Jamie (Audrey) Pritchard of Colorado, Jennifer Pritchard of Texas, my son Ulysses (Kim) Hemminger of Prophetstown; 14 grandchildren Linnea (Chase) Bethel, Sullivan Moore, Chanse (Shayna) Gascoigne, Christopher Beard, Kurtis Gascoigne, Ulysses Hemminger Jr., Grace (Elijah) Wilkinson, Damian Winfield, Trinity Brooks, Danica Brooks, Kasidy Pritchard, Cameron Doyle; 7 great-grandchildren Anelie, Wesley, Carson, Abel, Levi, Nico,Vada, Braxtyn, Felicity; many nieces and nephews and many more kids who called me Mom or Grandma over the years. My best friend and colleague Tami Greene, and two brothers Richard Krebs and Arnold Krebs.
I was preceded in death by my parents; two sisters; one brother and two half sisters. I enjoyed spending time with my loving husband, raising my kids, camping, traveling, fishing, hunting, anything with crafts, especially crochet and knitting. Many have blankets and stuffed animals I’ve made, flea markets, bagpipe music, flute music, coin collecting, rummage sales. I love tye Dyed smiley faces and I never lost my love of horses and riding. I say farewell to everyone who has been a part of my life. I hope you can remember me with love or at least a smile. Please send no flowers.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements have been completed by Schilling Funeral Home& Cremation in Sterling.
A memorial has been established.
