Obituary of Esther Sotelo

STERLING - Esther Josephina Sotelo, 90 of Sterling, died in her home, Friday, Jan. 9th, 2015. Mrs. Sotelo was born Nov. 21st, 1924, in Byron CA., the daughter of San Juana DeAnda and Carlos Guerra. She married Braulio Sotelo in 1939 in Jalisco, MX. He preceded her in death on Jan. 29th 1998. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Sterling. Survivors include sons Camillo Sotelo, William (Teresa) Sotelo, Braulio Sotelo III, Victor J. Sotelo, Sergio A. Sotelo; daughters Isabel (Harold) Hanson, Elda Martinez, Rachel (Art) Medina, Melissa Contrares, Lori (Louie) Gonzales; 50 Grand Children; 73 Great Grand Children; 49 Great Great Grand Children. She was also preceded in death by her sons Lucio Sotelo and John Sotelo. Visitation will be held Monday, January 12, 2015 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church in Sterling, with Reverend James Keenan officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.
